Our core philosophy, values, and principles are based on developing the person first and athlete second.
OUR STORY
Since 2010, Talentprojekt founder, Mark Dillon, has been bringing high level U.S. male soccer players to train in Europe on short two week stints gradually extending the length of stays. After cementing the model of living, training and playing in Europe, he launched the 10-month residency program in 2019 with 20 trailblazing athletes to form the first official Talentprojekt cohort in Düsseldorf, Germany. Throughout the last six years interest from female players for the same opportunity has converted from a whisper to a shout.
Beginning in 2025/2026, Talentprojekt will once again pioneer living, training and playing in Europe for high level U.S. female soccer players when it launches Talentprojekt Femmes.
OUR MISSION
Talentprojekt Femmes aims to address the gap that exists in our soccer system: unlike their male counterparts, there is limited opportunity to develop between the club level and college narrowing the trajectory an aspiring pro level female player can pursue.
By changing an athlete’s environment and immersing them into a development model and system that is rapidly surpassing what the U.S. offers, young footballers open themselves to play on the world stage during a critical development stage. And in the process, we will Shape the Next Era of Women’s Soccer.
