Boston ID Camp
The Talentprojekt is excited to announce the dates for a talent identification opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. The three-day camp will take place from July 8 through July 10, featuring age groups 2004 – 2007.
The camp will be presented by Be Ahead of the Game, a leader in youth soccer in the Boston area, and will feature both Klaus Pabst and Samir Sisic as talent evaluators.
Pabst is a Talentprojekt scout, currently working with the DFB. In addition to his previous role as director of coaching for FC Köln, Pabst is the director of “1. Taxofit Jugend-Fußsball Schule Köln”. Pabst is also a professor at Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, the premier sports-business school in Germany.
Sisic is currently an academy coach with Fortuna Dusseldorf and will be Head Coach of The Talentprojekt beginning this fall. Sisic has a long track record with Fortuna Dusseldorf’s youth system, primarily coaching the club’s U17s. Sisic holds a UEFA “A” license.
The Talentprojekt is a talent identification and player development program bridging the US and Germany for dedicated youth. Offering immersion in top German youth academies and exposure to Bundesliga coaches and scouts, The Talentprojekt is a model unlike any other. The Talentprojekt will offer 2 to 3 players from this camp the opportunity to train in Germany.
From Mark Dillon, Talentprojekt founder: “Our purpose is to identify Americans with potential for Europe and we have designed our programs around that. We work directly with Fortuna Dusseldorf’s technical staff and other Bundesliga clubs to provide a platform where boys are evaluated by real European Academy coaches and talent scouts in order to bridge the gap between European clubs and youth talent in the U.S.”
The camp is currently open by invitation only, to select applicants.
